RURACTIVE Dynamos Symposium Februar 2025

From February 25 to 26, 2025, the Dynamos Symposium Workshop took place in Vienna as part of the EU research project RURACTIVE with the participation of 34 participants from 8 countries. The aim of the project is to strengthen rural communities and enable them to actively shape their future. The focus of the work-intensive symposium was the concretization of the Local Action Plan in the Dynamos, the inclusion of cross-cutting priorities (climate change, biodiversity, social justice, inclusion, gender) in the solutions for the defined challenges in the Dynamos - the 12 rural pilot regions of the project - as well as the preparation of the third local workshop (LWs3). The latter deals with the concretization and implementation of the developed solutions.

Particular attention was paid to the integration of the “Canva” business model as a tool for implementing the solutions developed. This strategic management tool helps to visualize and structure business models, which enables the Dynamos to effectively plan and implement their innovative solutions.

The results achieved in the workshop form the basis for the upcoming third local workshop (LS3), in which the solutions developed are to be further deepened and tailored to the specific needs of the respective regions. Through this collaborative and cooperative approach, RURACTIVE contributes to the development of sustainable and innovative solutions for the challenges of rural areas in Europe.
