The COST Connect event, titled “Agriculture and its products” took place on October 17-18 in Brussels with the aim of fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to address the complex challenges facing the agricultural sector. Somaye Latifi from BAB was one of the representatives of the COST Action MARGISTAR (Transforming marginalised mountainous areas towards their green, digital, and healthy futures) at this gathering.
On the first day, policymakers and stakeholders shared insights into their activities, missions, and the challenges they aim to address within the sector. In addition, representatives from 20 participating COST Actions presented their ongoing activities. By sharing their experiences and expertise participants had also the chance to establish new professional relationships. The second day featured two engaging presentations from stakeholders, followed by interactive discussion sessions that explored a diverse range of topics related to agriculture.
This event was more than just a platform for presenting COST Actions; it served as a catalyst for new collaborations. By focusing on collaboration and multidisciplinary dialogue, it created opportunities for participants to work together, exchange ideas, and build lasting partnerships.
