At the beginning of April, a meeting took place as part of the Erasmus+ project "UniClaD" ("Enhancing Capacity Of Universities To Initiate And To Participate In Clusters Development On Innovation And Sustainability Principles"). With the participation of two BAB colleagues, topics such as IT in Agriculture, Creation of New Training Courses, Innovation in Agrifood Clusters, Lean Management in Agriculture, Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System were dealt with in a three-day workshop at the State University of Comrat. These are intended to support the participating partners from Moldova, Ukraine and Azerbaijan in the design and implementation of cluster activities (in Moldova in the area of milk production and processing).
In the subsequent Steering Committee Meeting at the Technical University in Chisinau, the implementation status of cluster development in Ukraine (UA), Moldova (MD) and Azerbaijan (AZ) was presented and discussed and the project schedule was defined until the planned end of the project in November 2024. Specific plans were drawn up for visits abroad by students from UA, MD and AZ to the EU project partner countries, pilot projects, manuals on the topics of cluster development and innovation as well as a workshop and final conference in Azerbaijan in October 2024.
