On 7 and 8 September, RUSTIK project partners from ten different countries visited the BAB to plan the final phase of the Horizon Europe RUSTIK project together. RUSTIK stands for ‘Rural Sustainability Transitions through Integration of Knowledge for improved policy processes’; its primary aim is therefore to determine how data experiments and knowledge generation can facilitate rural sustainability transitions. A particular focus of this meeting was the jointly drafted synthesis report, which will bring together the project’s key findings and make them accessible for policy and strategy development.
The dissemination of project findings was also discussed beyond the scope of the synthesis report. Those interested can already look forward to further videos, policy briefs and practice abstracts, which will present various findings from this project in an accessible manner.
We would like to thank the many researchers and practice partners for attending and look forward to the upcoming writing process!
