Applying the Learning History method with the FoodCooperative S'Gartl in Windischgarsten
On 8 July 2026, the first stakeholder workshop of the Horizon project NexRur took place with members of the FoodCooperative S'Gartl. The workshop was organised by Oliver Tamme, Katrin Hofer and Georg Wiesinger at the Shared Space Schärhaus in Windischgarsten. Alongside an initial personal introduction, the focus of the workshop was the application of the Learning History method, which is intended to provide the association's members with an atmosphere of reflection in order to jointly work out the key moments in the association's history.
At the start of the workshop, the project and the planned cooperation with the association were presented once more before moving into the substantive working phase. Following a ten-minute individual work session, in which participants noted down their key moments, targeted questions on each key moment were asked based on a guide, with the aim of laying out the association's history as comprehensively as possible. A key moment can be an event, a conflict, or an aha moment, and it contributes significantly to the association's history.
Following the roughly two-hour working phase, the association hosted a joint closing get-together with tastings and products from regional supplying producers.
The next exchange with the FoodCooperative S'Gartl will take place on 27 August as part of the association's general assembly.
