From 7 to 10 July 2026, the 3rd International Symposium on Work in Agriculture (ISWA 2026) took place in Zollikofen, Switzerland. The international event addressed current and future challenges of work in agriculture from the perspectives of research, policy, and practice, and brought together 200 participants from 20 countries.
Erika Quendler’s presentation was about a capability framework. Through this framework, she illustrates how education and training can support young people in remaining successful and employable in the agri-food sector over the long term.
