To support the use and exploitation of project results after project closure, BIOECO-UP is currently organising dissemination and networking activities particularly in the geographical region of Central and Eastern Europe (BIOECO-UP project: AT, CZ, IT, HR, HU, PL, SI, SK; BIOEAST Initiative: BG, CZ, EE, HR, HU, LT, LV, PL, RO, SI, SK).
In a joint BIOECO-UP-BIOEAST meeting (26.02.2026, online), the Federal Institute of Agricultural Economics, Rural and Mountain Research (BAB) presented insights from a transnational bioeconomy policy workshop (01.02.2024, online) and an analysis of bioeconomy-relevant measures in different national and EU-level policy frameworks, including the CAP 2023-2027 (see e.g. BIOECO-UP deliverable D.3.1.3). Other presentations addressed bioeconomy potentials in the BIOECO-UP region as well as a proposed bioeconomy strategy and action plan with a focus on CAP and BIOEAST countries. Subsequently, BIOEAST board members and Thematic Working Group leaders discussed some key findings and practical aspects with BIOECO-UP partners.
The BIOECO-UP closing conference “From CAP to Market: Unlocking Opportunities in the Bioeconomy” on 13 March 2026 is organised as a hybrid event in Budapest and online. For the agenda and more information, see https://bioeast.eu/events-cal/bioeco-up-project-closing-hybrid-event/.
The project “BIOECO-UP – Circular bioeconomy market uptake and policy support in Central Europe” (CE0100254) is supported by the Interreg Central Europe 2021-2027 programme with co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund. Project duration: 01.04.2023 bis 31.03.2026.
