First GRACE Stakeholder Meeting in the Bucklige Welt – Wechselland

On 24 February 2026, the first stakeholder meeting in the Bucklige Welt – Wechselland region took place within the framework of the GRACE-project. The objective of the event was to bring together key regional actors, present the current status of the project, and jointly discuss core topics.

Following a brief round of introductions, participants received an overview of the project’s objectives, methodological approach, and upcoming steps. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of the Regional Climate Resilience Groups (RCRGs), which serve as a participatory body structuring the exchange between the project consortium and regional stakeholders, while systematically integrating local knowledge into the overall process.

Subsequently, the region was presented with a specific focus on existing measures and strategies. It became clear that numerous ongoing activities already provide a solid foundation for further project implementation and create valuable points of connection.

The constructive exchange during the discussion session generated important impulses for the next stages of work and further strengthened cooperation between the project team and regional partners. The meeting marks an important milestone in the project’s implementation and lays the foundation for continued dialogue within the RCRGs.
