On 20 November 2025, the first policy workshop between Horizon Europe SERIGO and its sister project Horizon Europe ESIRA took place at the premises of the European Mountain Organisation EUROMONTANA in Brussels. This exchange meeting was organised by our SERIGO partner AEIDL (European Association for Innovation in Local Development). Georg Wiesinger attended this event on behalf of BAB.
In various working groups, experts, policy makers and practitioners discussed the potential of the social economy to promote greater resilience and economic, environmental and social sustainability in rural regions. The results will be incorporated into the revision of the EU's current Social Economy Action Plan.
