Analysis and graphical presentation of gender-disaggregated data in the field of agriculture and rural areas

Gender-adequate and gender-equitable statistics - gender statistics - should help to make gender-specific inequalities visible and increase the overall understanding of the different situations of women and men. Gender-equitable collection and processing of statistics is not only necessary to ensure general comparability between women and men, it is also essential in order to be able to adequately record, measure and assess the participation and involvement of women and men in the economy, politics and society. Based on the evaluation of existing statistical databases, this project aims to analyse and graphically present gender-disaggregated data - mapping gender - in the field of agriculture and rural areas.

Status of the project and work in 2026

In 2025, the fact sheet ‘Who is continuing their education and how? Evaluation of the use of LFI educational offerings in a gender comparison’ was published. In 2026, thematic fact sheets are planned, which will be developed as part of the gender equality evaluation of the CAP Strategic Plan.
